Install
When installed according to these instructions, the module installation compact I/O is suitable for industrial environments. When removing or inserting a module
When removing or inserting a module with power on, arcing may occur. The electric arc can cause personal injury or property damage in the following ways: sending wrong signals to the field equipment of the system, causing accidental movement of the machine, causing explosive arc in a dangerous environment, and causing excessive wear of the contacts on the module and its mating connectors. Worn contacts can create resistance. Move the module backward along the tongue slot until the bus connectors (2) are aligned with each other. 5. Push the bus bar back slightly to clear the locating lug (3). Use your fingers or a small screwdriver. 6. To allow communication between the controller and the module, move the bus bar completely to the left (4) until a click occurs.
