Identify any issues you need to consider and activities you need to perform during project preparation. For more information on how to use the readiness check for, see: __. See also Readiness Checks and Inspections [page]. The system requires that you understand the system requirements to start version conversion path and data volume. For details, please refer to the following section: How do system requirements [on page] affect your system environment? [Page] Supported Start Versions [Page] Data Volume Reduction [Page] Maintenance Planner You need to run the maintenance planner tool as the first step in the conversion process. It checks your component add ons and business functions to ensure compatibility with and is done by the Software Update Manager tool for creating a conversion guide Getting Started is the stack file for the actual conversion process. See [page] for details. Note: This step is mandatory because the Software Update Manager needs to convert the stack file of the process. Unsupported has been replaced.
Project inspection
These checks identify the important steps you need to take to ensure that your system can be technically transformed and that your business processes can run directly after the transformation process is complete. For more information, see Simplifying Item Checks [page]. Note: This step is mandatory and will be triggered again by the Software Update Manager. Ideally, you can run a simplified project check check early in the process so that you can pay attention to the plan information provided by the check. Note that the stack file is no longer required for checking. See also Readiness Checks and Inspections [page]. Custom code migration The custom code migration tool checks the custom code according to the simplified list developed for.
