On June 28, 2013, 16:13:35 MDT 1 Valve Inspection and Test 1 Scope 1.1 This standard covers the requirements for inspection, inspection, supplementary inspection and pressure test of resilient seats, non-metallic seats (such as ceramics) and metal to metal seat valves, stop valves, plug valves Ball, check and butterfly valve types.
Resilient seats are considered to be: a) soft seats, solid and semi-solid grease types (such as lubricating plugs); b) Soft metal combination seat; c) Any other type of valve designed to meet the resilient seat leakage rate specified in Table 6.
