The optional power supply system provides four power supply options. In any case, the machine will provide appropriate power supply. Check whether the power supply parameters meet the requirements of the cushion system given in the specification. If 24V AC or DC power supply is used, it must be isolated from the main power supply according to international electrical safety practices (IEC 364-4-41). One pole should be grounded (the negative pole of DC power supply is grounded). If special arrangements must be made, 24V DC commercial devices suitable for the system can be provided at any time. Auxiliary Output This is a non safe output provided as a status output. It is particularly useful in systems that use PLC function machine control and hardwired safety circuits as PLC status inputs. Other uses include diagnostics and/or driving status lights or alarms in the protection scheme. The safety function must not depend on this output. Arc suppression It is recommended that all inductive loads use an arc suppression network or device. For safety circuits, suppressors shall be mounted on the load, not on the contacts. The type and rating of suppressors will be determined by the power supply and load characteristics. Note that the suppressor can increase the response time, especially the suppressor diodes at both ends of the DC coil, and should be installed in place when measuring the response time.
The time from the safe output power of the control unit to the execution force of the control unit is 20ms, and the response time is 20ms. The time from the safe input power of the control unit to the reset execution force of the control device is 20ms. The response time is 24. The contactor monitoring is provided through two terminals marked MC. It is applied to all dual channel and dual contactor systems. If one of the contactors fails to isolate the power supply, the pad control unit will lock and prevent the other contactor from re energizing until the fault is corrected. 5.8 After taking these factors into account, the final sensor pad layout can now be checked and finalized. Consider whether the machine response time is different from the initial calculation. Where possible, mats and wires shall be provided at the outer edge of the detection area. This simplifies installation and replacement, if required, and all wiring is protected by the perimeter trim. 5.9 Wiring All system wiring must be protected from mechanical damage and properly sealed to adapt to the operating environment. Waterproof butt joints shall be provided for the connection of mat to mat, and shall be protected by edge trimming. 440F-T3230 conductor conduit can provide proper protection if wiring is required on the floor. Conduit or trunking shall be used for other wire routes. The sealing integrity of the control unit must be maintained at IP65 by using conduit fittings or cable glands of correct size and fastening. Wiring practices must comply with the requirements of Clause 14 of EN 60204-1.
