Mark the fixing position of the edge trim on the floor so that the trim overlaps the pad. Using the holes in the trim as a guide, mark and drill the floor, if necessary, and install plugs. Clean the floor and fix the mat and edge trim in place with countersunk screws to suit the application. When installing the perimeter trim, ensure that no wires are trapped or crushed between the trim and the floor or between the top and bottom depending on the trim type. If the wire may be pinched or pulled out, strain relief clips should be used where the wire leaves the surrounding trim. All wires shall be protected by suitable conduits. If possible, the wiring sleeve shall not pass through the floor area that may trip. The installation and wiring of the control unit can also refer to the drawings in section, section and section. The control unit shall be installed as supplied. Make sure the proper ratchet type uses a crimping tool. Crimp wires and insulation. Do not connect multiple wires to one crimp. Make sure the power supply remains isolated and locked until section. The main AC power supply must be externally fused through the largest high breaking capacity fuse at the power supply point.
